RJS is opening in August 2021
We are delighted to have completed the purchase of land in Semuto, Nakaseke, Uganda yesterday with the aim of opening Radnor Junior School in the village by August. David and Jo Paton are delighted to have donated £100k to the project to build a much needed school for this community in only five months.
RJS, as we are calling it, will be a primary school for children in nursery to age 12 with the dual aims of delivering high levels of literacy tuition and wide ranging extra curricular activities. With a focus on the latest management and educational practices RJS hopes to focus on literacy and senior school entry, plus great extra curricular activities for children in the Semuto area.
There is much still do to but it does feel like we've at least started the stop watch.
PS. Its useful to point out that something like this would not have been possible without some of the latest technologies such as #Linkedin, #Zoom, #MobileMoney and of course #MS365. Technology is such a driver for change and even in places with limited access to electricity, it's changing the world we live in. #community #schools #teachers
